3 Habits that Changed My Life

2019 is my favorite year thus far. Not only did I break the most but I also grew tremendously. As we prepare to welcome the new decade, I want to share with you the 3 Habits that helped me to maximize on all the experiences that came my way. The good, the bad, the painful and the pleasurable.

  1. Learning from those that have gone on before you.

This year I decided to read more powerful books, deliberately. Instead of watching a Netflix series or another movie I chose to take up a book. I read widely and consistently throughout the year, making sure to soak up as much knowledge as I could. Soon I noticed changes in my thinking, which then led to changes in my actions, which breathed life into a new lifestyle. I never could have imagined such an impact. Watch my 3 Habits That Changed My Life video to know which books left the greatest impact.

2. Being Grateful on Purpose

In one of my 2019 reads, I came across the saying that the more grateful you are, the more you will have to be grateful for. It’s so simple yet so profound. Once I decided to look out for things to express gratefulness for, my life was flooded with things that I loved and wanted more of. In shifting my focus from what I don’t want to what I want more of, I got just that….over and over and over again. Try it!

3. Utilizing the Power of Visualization

The mind is a powerful thing, we hear it all the time. Yet, nothing blew me away quite like this. Everyday I sat by myself and visualized the things that I wanted in my life. A new stream of income, new shoes, the list goes on and on. I made sure to be completely engulfed in what I desired. I had to see it, smell it, taste it, feel it and hear it in my mind. Then guess what! In what felt like no time, what I was thinking on was now right there in front of me. The thing that only I could experience in my head was now here, where everybody else could see it, smell it, taste it, feel it and hear it too. Honestly, I’m blown away every time it happens. Furthermore, when I tell my friends and loved ones to try it, it happens for them too. It’s wild, I know…but it’s real.

With all these life changing habits and experiences, I honestly cannot wait for 2020! Check out my vlog for more details!
